Electrical Phasing Best Practices

1. Underground/Slab
- Install conduits, feeders, and grounding systems early.
- Coordinate trench routing with HVAC and plumbing.
2. Rough-In
- Run conduits in walls and ceilings.
- Install boxes and pull strings early.
- Label everything clearly before wire pull.
3. Panels & Equipment
- Install switchgear, panels, and disconnects.
- Maintain NEC-required working clearances.
4. Lighting & Devices
- Install wall boxes with consistent elevation.
- Prepare brackets and stubs before ceilings are in.
5. Trim Out
- Install light fixtures, switches, and receptacles.
- Label circuits and check GFCI/AFCI as required.
6. Testing & Inspection
- Perform megger testing, continuity checks, and circuit ID.
- Coordinate final inspections with GC and AHJ.
