⚡ Electrical Pro Cheat Sheet & Field Tools

Plan scale, voltage drop, conduit fill, circuit load, device heights, fast BOM (wire & conduit), and notes — jobsite ready.

Plan Scale Converter

Convert measured length on drawings to real-world length. Select a preset or enter custom scale.

Voltage Drop Helper (Copper THHN)

Quick estimate. Uses DC resistance (ohms/1000 ft) @ 75°C. Round-trip length handled automatically.

Target ≤3% on branch circuits, ≤5% total (feeder + branch). Verify with NEC adjustment factors.

Conduit Fill Quick Check (EMT, 40% Limit)

Uses THHN approximate areas. Result shows % of the 40% max fill and max quantity at 40%.

Verify with NEC Ch. 9, Tbl. 1 & Tbl. 5/5A for exact construction and temperature ratings.

Circuit Load & Breaker Suggest

Add loads in VA. Continuous loads are multiplied by 125%. Suggestion uses the 80% rule.

Fast BOM Builder — Wire & Conduit

Add runs to total conduit footage (by size/type) and wire footage (by AWG). Optionally include an equipment grounding conductor (EGC).
